Nourish at SIH Cancer Institute

Nourish is a free educational diet and nutrition program provided through the SIH Cancer Institute and made possible in part by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH). Nourish provides cancer patients, survivors and caregivers access to resources such as educational seminars, instructional videos, cooking demonstrations and more.

Clinical dietitian Micah Pierce, MS, RD provides nutrition counseling to our patients at SIH Cancer Institute. One of the things he's learned in practice and through research is that many of our disease states are a product of poor diet and lack of physical activity. So he's made it his personal mission to get people back into the kitchen, and he's dedicated to helping folks learn how to cook with real, natural and fresh foods!
