Halee Essick, an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) specializing in Pulmonary & Critical Care, brings a wealth of experience and compassion to her practice in Southern Illinois. Growing up in the region, Halee has a deep appreciation for the small-town atmosphere and the close-knit community that she calls home.

Halee's journey into Pulmonary & Critical Care began during her time as an ICU nurse, where she gained valuable insights into the complexities of critical care medicine. It was through these experiences that she realized her passion for the field and decided to pursue advanced training as a nurse practitioner, eventually finding her niche in pulmonary and critical care.

When patients visit Halee, they can expect to be met with warmth, empathy, and a genuine dedication to their well-being. Halee takes the time to truly listen to her patients, understanding that each person's journey to better health is unique and deserving of personalized care.

For the past five years, Halee has been an integral part of the healthcare team at SIH, where she finds immense fulfillment in seeing her patients and being able to make a difference in their lives.
