Biography

Jessica Lohman, NP, brings extensive experience to her role in post-acute care at Southern Illinois Healthcare (SIH). With 15 years of experience as a registered nurse in acute care and 7 years as a nurse practitioner, Jessica has honed a deep understanding of patient needs throughout the healthcare journey. Her dedication to post-acute care reflects her commitment to providing patients with the highest level of support as they transition from the hospital to home or other care settings.

Known for her compassionate bedside manner, strong communication skills, and efficient approach to care, Jessica ensures that her patients receive clear, empathetic, and personalized attention. She takes the time to make sure they understand their care plans and feel well-supported during their recovery.

Jessica has been part of SIH for nearly five years and enjoys the more rural, close-knit community compared to where she previously lived. She appreciates the independence and flexibility of working offsite, which enables her to deliver focused, individualized care.

Outside of her professional life, Jessica is a dedicated mother to two daughters and a proud owner of two dogs and one cat. She finds fulfillment in balancing her career with her family life, applying the same level of care and commitment to both her patients and her loved ones.
